Winston passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, October 11, 2013 at the age of 72. Winston will be greatly missed by his true love of 45 years, Dianne (Collier) Shalton. Adored and loved by his children Derek and Linda, Karen and Shawn, Lisa and Corey, Michelle and Shen , Todd (predeceased) and Laura. Cherished grandfather to Christopher, Brittany, Brooke, Abby, Jack, Lia, Kai, Chase and Kiana. Beloved son of Evelyn Smith and best brother to Ron (predeceased) and Mona, Gerald and Louise, Patrina and Jim (predeceased). Missed by many of his in-laws, nieces and nephews. Winston has many great friends whom he cared for greatly. When Win was not with family he ventured to his second home the Knights of Columbus in Oakville. Family and friends will be received at the Kopriva Taylor Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd. W., Oakville from 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 8 pm on Wednesday, October 16. The funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 47 Reynolds Street, Oakville.
