Passed away peacefully at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, Burlington, Ontario on Saturday, December 13, 2008 at the age of 85. Loving wife of William Peebles. Loving mother of Jim LaRocque, Murray LaRocque (Heather), Richard Peebles and Mark Peebles (Jackie). Loving grandmother of Aaron (Liz), Tanya, Tara, Brandon, Taylor, Matthew, Meghan and DJ. Jean will be resting at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600) on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in the Kopriva Chapel on Saturday, December 20, 2008 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. A reception will follow at the Queensway Firefighters' Hall, 2366 Fassel Avenue, Burlington. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
