Quietly in hospital, on Wednesday, December 28, 2011, as the result of a stroke, Bill passed away in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Mina-Jane, dearly missed father of Barbara Jane Dermott and cherished Gramps to Katherine Elizabeth and Sara Jane. Father-in-law to Walter Dermott. Lovingly remembered by sisters Olive Batt, Margaret Bassett and their families and cousin Susan Darrell and family in Bermuda. A memorial service will be held at Kopriva-Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd. West (one block east of Kerr St.) at 12 noon, Friday, December 30th, 2011 with a reception to follow. Interment at Park Lawn Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Oakville- Trafalgar Memorial Hospital.
