Passed away peacefully at the Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, on December 2, 2009 at the age of 71. Son of Rocco and Ruth Fasano, he will be greatly missed by his beloved wife Nicole of 36 years and daughters Casey, Amanda (Christopher) and Natalie. His daughters from a previous marriage Crista and Karen, his two grandchildren Dean and Darcy, his brothers Robert, Franklin (Taffy) and Freddy, his special sister Maggie, his cousin Bonnie, his nieces and nephew Kelley, Sara, Jake, as well as Kim (Rob) and their son "Hurricane" Harrison, his best friend Newton and latest princess Basil Ramona (aka #27). Bill enjoyed working for Richard DeBoo Publishers (Carswell Publishers) for 25 years, President Don VanMeer was a great friend and mentor to him for many years. Special thanks are extended to all of Bill & Nicole's close friends who have been so supportive over the years. The family would like to thank all the OTHM staff on 2 and 3 east that helped Bill during his stay at the hospital, a special thank you to his longtime family physician Dr. Boktar. Cremation has taken place and in respect to Bill's final wishes there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Kidney Dialysis Department at the Oakville-Trafalgar would be greatly appreciated.
