IN LOVING MEMORY OF
William Donald
(Don) Elphick
January 31, 1938 – December 20, 2023
Peacefully at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital after a short stay.
Don spent the last three years at West Oak Village (WOV) where his quick wit and anecdotes will be greatly missed. As a lifelong resident of Oakville and know around Town as "Cat", Don spent many hours chatting with the staff of WOV and providing them with a detailed history of our Town. Over the last few years, he became quite the artist, and was a regular attendee at the weekly Bingo games, always aiming to win the top prize!
Don leaves behind his brother Ted and his wife Jane of Oakville, and Ken and his wife Pam in B.C. He was "Uncle Don" to his five nieces; Loriann, Stacey, Tatum, Kirsten and Lindsay as well as 12 great-nieces and great-nephews.
Sending love and peace as Don is reunited with his parents, Dorie and Chuck Elphick. The Toronto Maple Leafs have lost a great fan.
A Celebration of Don's Life will be held June 8, 2024 at St. Luke's Palermo Church 1:30 pm with reception to follow.
