It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of William at the age of 81 on March 17, 2012 and Noreen at the age of 78 on March 22, 2012 at the Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. On April 11, 2012 William and Noreen would have celebrated 59 years of marriage. Beloved parents of Sue (Steve Riddell). Loving grandparents of William (Victoria) and Jennifer. William is survived by his brothers Richard (Sue), Jim and the late Edward (Late Barb); his sisters Caroline (Late Danny), Georgina (Late Jack), Joan (Jim), Lynn (John) and Laurie (Ed). Noreen is survived by her brother Dan (Marjorie) and her late sister Joan (Late Percy). They will also be sadly missed by their nieces and nephews. The family would also like to acknowledge and thank all of Bill's co-workers and friends at ASA Alloys. In celebration of their lives it is requested that you wear colourful attire. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600), Oakville on Saturday, April 14, 2012 from 1-3 p.m. with a Celebration of Life Service at 3 p.m. in the Kopriva Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society, MS Society or Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides would be appreciated by the family.
