Peacefully at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, February 1, 2012, in his 95th year. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy B Watson (Henderson). Loving father of Lou-Anne (Gary Bertasson) and Robert. Grandfather of Jason and Julie (Jeff); great-grandfather of Kingston. Brother of Lois Babcock of Ottawa. Son of the late Robert and Catherine Watson of Arnprior; predeceased by his siblings Lorne, Ken, Jean, Bob & Russell. Bill proudly served with the RCAF overseas during WWII; was a past member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 114; chartered member of St Paul's United Church and retiree of Gulf Canada Clarkson Refinery. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600), Oakville from 2-5 pm Sunday. A celebration of life will be held 11:00 am Monday, February 6, 2012 at St Paul's United Church, 454 Rebecca Street, Oakville. Interment to follow at St. Jude's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Community Living Oakville or the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the family. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Northridge LTC for the wonderful care given to Dad during his final few months.
