Died on February 29, 2008 with his family at his side at the Ian Anderson House in Oakville, Ontario after a short and courageous battle with a brain tumour. Loving husband, friend and soul mate of Tilla, adored father of Andrea (Gerwyn Jones), Stephanie (Karl Murray) and Marcia (Mark Wiseman) and proud granddad of Alexander and Colin. Bill was predeceased by his dear brother Jim. He will be sadly missed by his brothers Fred and John, his sisters- in-law and their families. Bill had a rewarding medical career as a general surgeon. He was truly committed to his patients and highly respected by his peers. Bill's compassion, warmth and wisdom will continue to guide us all. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 4 at 2 pm at the Knox Presbyterian Church, 89 Dunn Street, Oakville. Reception to follow.
