Passed away peacefully on November 23 in his 98th year. Predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Noreen (Norris) and his brothers David, Aubrey, Charley, and Winston. Survived by his sister Margaret (Docupil), four sons Bernie (Kathy), Bob (Anne Michelle), Bruce (Linda), and Brian (Rosann), his 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Born Oct 17, 1915 in Montreal (Verdun), Bernie started work at the Royal Bank at the age of 13, finished high school at nights and went on to a successful business career that included Dominion Securities, Fairchild Aircraft, Morgan's, and DRG group. He travelled the world with his sweetheart Noreen. Always happy and positive, he made everyone around him feel good. Thanks to all the staff at the Waterford for their wonderful care. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd. W., Oakville (1 block east of Kerr St., 905-844-2600) from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, November 25, 2012.
