IN LOVING MEMORY OF
William Wallace
Andrews
January 11, 1934 – April 26, 2019
Peacefully at home at the age of 85 with Margie, his beloved wife of 59 years, by his side. Dear father of Janet (David) and James (Amy), and loving grandfather to Robyn (Sam), Kristen (Kyle), Taylor, Chloe and Luke.
Born in Brantford on January 11, 1934, the only child to Mary (1976) and Norman (1941) Andrews, Bill grew up on the family farm and attended St. Andrew's College, then the University of Western Ontario. Bill enjoyed a long and very successful career on Bay Street, first as Director and Vice President of A.E. Ames & Co., then as Vice President of Nesbitt Burns until his retirement in 1999. Bill was a great lover of music and the Maple Leafs, and avidly pursued tennis, golf, antique collecting and woodworking. But most of all, he loved people. A very happy and gregarious man, Bill always had time to stop and chat with anyone about practically anything. He will be deeply missed, but his family and many friends will take solace in the fact that his was a life that was truly well-lived.
