With great sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Walter Charles Young in Oakville on Jan. 20, 2021 at age 72.  Born in Oakville, he was predeceased by his parents Charles & Elizabeth Young.  He is deeply missed by his brother Brian, sister Marion (Bill), nephew Andrew (Caroline) and great nieces River and Isabella.

Walter worked as a skilled electrician for Canadian General Electric, Caterpillar and St. Lawrence Cement.  He enjoyed family dinners, lively debate, dogs, nature and many happy days at his cottage on Bay Lake.  He was a capable handy man and took pleasure in helping others with their projects.

Cremation has taken place.  A memorial service will be held at a later date with interment at Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery in Oakville.

Donations to the Oakville & Milton Humane Society in Walter's name would be appreciated.
