On Friday, September 25, 2015, shortly after 3:00 a.m., the Angel Gabriel came to take our Dad home to join his beloved wife and our Mom Peggy (Margaret Ingoldsby), his Mom and Dad Annie Rhoda (nee Barry) and Walter Henry Ross, and his brother Jack. Left to mourn Walter are his loving children, Margaret Ann (Pierre Gendreau), Barry (Frances Good), Jane (Patrick McCarney), Mary Louise (widow of the late Paul Dziedzic) and Helen (James Gower). Special Grandpa to 12 adoring grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600) from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Sunday, September 27, 2015. A Mass of Thanksgiving celebrating the life of Walter will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 28, 2015, at Saint Dominic Catholic Church, 2415 Rebecca Street, Oakville. Interment St. Jude's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to The Good Shepherd, Hamilton, or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario, or the Canadian Cancer Society.
