The family of Walter Rose is saddened to announce his passing at the Oakville Trafalgar Hospital on June 14, 2022 at the age of 87.

Walter was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to everyone. He is survived by his wife Beverley of 63 years, sons Peter (Carmen) and Richard (Heather), four grandchildren; Stephanie, Christopher (Julia), Nicola (Jonas) and Natalie (David) and three great grandchildren; Ela, Mateo, and Isla.

Walter (Pa) was one of ten children born in Jamaica. He migrated to Canada with his family in 1975 where he built a successful business until his retirement. He found joy and excelled at golf whenever the opportunity allowed, holding his love for God and family above all else. A true gentleman, Pa's love, kindness and dignity are woven into the hearts of those he loved.

A memorial service will be held July 5, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul's United Church, 454 Rebecca Street, Oakville, ON L6K 1K7.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in his name to the Oakville Trafalgar Hospital or a charity of your choice.
