Former Director Industrial Training Branch, Ministry of Colleges and Universities, Province of Ontario. Peacefully at Toronto General Hospital on Saturday April 10, 2010, in his 96th year. Walter, beloved husband of Ruth. Loving father of Philip and his wife Jean. Dear grandfather of Laura and Kimberly. Predeceased by brothers Jack, Albert and Harry and sisters Irene and Violet. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600), Oakville on Thursday April 15, 2010 at 12:00 pm. Reception to follow. Thank you to the staff of Delmanor Glen Abbey, Oakville for all their love and support over the past 5 ½ years. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Toronto General Hospital Cardiac Unit or the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation.
