Passed peacefully, on Friday, November 26th, Loving husband and soulmate of Elfriede, dear father of Karen (John) and Connie (Randy) and proud Opa of Erika (Marco), Lauren (Shane), Michelle (Brandon) and Madeline (Ryan) and great Opa to Jackson and Theo.

Beloved son of the late Elsie and Walter Broughton.

Jim was born in Liverpool, England but his home has been in Oakville since 1956.  He was for many years an avid leaf fan, he loved to travel and enjoyed nothing more than a nice meal with friends and family.  Jim battled dementia for many years but he never lost his kind spirit or his sense of humour.  He will be remembered as a gentleman.
