(Born Cap St. Georges, Newfoundland; loving and caring son of Adeline and the late John Ernest Benoit, Jr.; beloved husband of Chantal (Chabot); dear father of Ryan and Faron; passed away after a brief illness on Saturday, December 29, 2007 at Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, in his 52nd year. Wade will be also remembered by his sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews and a large network of friends. He was with St. Lawrence Cement for more than 21 years; he developed good friendships with many colleagues. Special thanks are addressed to all the professionals, nurses, and staff for their effective and appreciated constant support while at the Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2008 at the Salvation Army Citadel, 1225 Rebecca Street, Oakville, ON L6L 1Z1 with a Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital Foundation (Palliative Care Unit), 327 Reynolds Street, Oakville, ON L6J 3L7 or the Salvation Army Citadel, Oakville would be appreciated by the family.
