It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Vojna Jankovic.  Vojna passed away peacefully on July 19, 2023 in Oakville at the age of 82 with her family by her side after a 5 year battle with Alzheimer's.  Vojna will forever be remembered by her son Dragisa and beloved grand-daughter Ana, her sister Rava, niece Tamara, nephew Vlado and daughter-in-law Milica.  Vojna was born in Sarajevo, Bosnia on March 14, 1941 to parents Stojan and Koviljka Jankovic. Vojna is pre-deceased by her brother Vojin and is survived by her sister Rava.

Life for Vojna was not always easy, a single mother struggling to make a good living for herself and her family.   Despite her struggles, she was able to have a great career and at the same time be a dedicated mother and daughter.

Vojna will always be remembered by her great generosity, kindness, humility, sense of humor and wisdom.

Rest in peace, we love you.

Visitation will take place Saturday July 22, 2023 9:00 am until 11:00 am with Funeral Service to commence at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd West, Oakville.
