Vito's journey from Toritto, Italy, to Toronto, and eventually Oakville, Ontario, was marked by hard work, love, and a deep connection to his family. Starting with his employment at Long Manufacturing and later transitioning to custodial work with the public and Catholic school boards, he provided for his loved ones while leaving a lasting impression on many students year after year.

Family was the cornerstone of Vito's life, and he cherished every moment spent with his siblings and extended family. Their shared memories of picnics and gatherings served as a source of joy and connection, strengthening the bonds that tied them together.

Above all, Vito was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, whose love and support knew no bounds. His affection for his wife Nicoletta, his children Maria (Joe), Ralph (Michela), and his cherished grandchildren Gabrielle and Samuel, shone brightly in every aspect of his life.

Vito's mischievous spirit and sense of humor brought laughter and light to those around him, leaving behind a legacy of joy and fond memories. Whether he was enjoying music, taking a chance at the casino, or simply admiring the tranquil beauty of Lake Ontario, Vito found happiness in life's simple pleasures.

The love and care Nicoletta poured into her cooking always brought a smile to Vito's face, a testament to the warmth and joy that filled their home.

As family and friends gather to honor Vito's memory, may they find solace in each other's company and in the cherished moments they shared with him. to celebrate Vito's remarkable life and the profound impact he had on all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Visitation will be held on Sunday April 14, 2024 at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block East of Kerr Street) from 3-8 pm.  Funeral Service will be held on Monday April 15, 2024 at St. James Roman Catholic Church, 231 Morden Road, Oakville at 10 am.
