It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Vi on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 in her 89th year at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. Loved wife of the Late George Dick. Treasured and loved mother of Kenneth Dick and his wife Wendy. Cherished Grandma of Kevin and Jackson. Sister of the late Ellen Beasley, the late Nancy Groves and of late brothers Tommy and Fred. Vi was born in Glasgow, Scotland and settled in Oakville in the early 1960's with her husband George and lived in the community for the balance of her life. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd. W., Oakville (1 block east of Kerr St., 905-844-2600) from 2:30pm-3:30pm Saturday, March 2, 2013 immediately followed by Service celebrating her life at 3:30pm Saturday, March 2, 2013. Memorial donations can be made to the Salvation Army or the Canadian Cancer Society and would be appreciated by the family.
