After a short illness, Vincent died peacefully on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 in his 83rd year at the Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Teresa Brigid (Fitzmaurice) for 57 years. Loved father of Anne-Marie (Bob Kennedy), Bill Horrigan (Susan), Colleen (Rod Murray), Karen (Michael Kelly), Kevin Horrigan (Lillian), Kerry Horrigan (Lori Ann), Mary Ellen Horrigan(Sean Draper), Vincent Horrigan Jr. (Sharon Brown). Cherished grandfather of Tara, Nathan, Kyle (deceased), Michael, April (David Quinn), Matheson, Kevin, Padraig, Caitlin, Thomas, Keenan, Alex, Elyse, Maddie. Brother of Frank (Patricia), Ray (Theresa - deceased), Jim (deceased), sister-in-law Patricia, Margaret (deceased), brother-in-law Norbert, Helen (Ray - deceased).
Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600), Oakville on Thursday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral mass on Friday, December 31, 2010 at 10 am at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, 181 Sewell Drive, Oakville. Interment Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Good Shepherd Hamilton.
