Mom passed away peacefully on Saturday March 1, 2014 at Oakville Trafalgar Hospital, in her 89th year. She is now with the angels, still watching over us. She was loved and cherished by everyone who knew her. Loving mother of Barbara, Darlene and Walter. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Sean and Lisa Robertson, Jannah Rowe, Ryan Giesche & Kevin Scanlon, and her great grandchildren, Courtney, Matthew, Holy, Dominic, Amarette and Kieran. She was a gracious, kind, smart and funny lady. She raised her family with energy, dedication & commitment and made sure that we were always cared for. In her retirement years, she worked as a Crossing Guard for Oakville's school children and loved every minute of it, protecting and loving each child under her care. Visitation will take place at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600) from 2 – 5 pm Wednesday. Funeral service will take place at 2:00 pm on Thursday March 6, 2014 in the funeral home chapel. Cremation to follow.
