It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Veronica "Vera" Heaney who died peacefully on Monday July 23, 2018 in her 88 ^th year. Beloved wife of the late Dermot Anthony. She will be missed by her daughters Terry, Noreen, Geraldine and son Tim. Son-in-laws Ken and Scott and daughter-in-law Christine. Loving grandmother to Mark (Jennifer), Ryan, Vanessa, Sam, Kevin, Michael and Jacob. Loving GG to Owen and Connor. Dear sister of Molly. She will be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Vera was a founding member of Saint Dominic Parish and the Catholic Women's League of Saint Dominic's. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville on Thursday from 6 pm – 9 pm. Funeral mass will be held at Saint Dominic Parish, 2415 Rebecca Street, Oakville on Friday July 27, 2018 at 10 am. Interment Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery. Those who wish may make donations to Saint Dominic Parish in Vera's memory.
