On Monday December 25, 2006, after a courageous battle with cancer, at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital in Oakville. Beloved wife of the late Leo. Loving mother and friend of Cathy, Maureen, Teresa and the late Donna. Dear mother-in-law of Frank Paczos and Ron Gellatly. Cherished grandmother of Andrea, Natalie, Melissa (Danny), Allison (Ted), Jordan, Lauren and Matthew. Great Gramma-Vera to Olivia and William. Vera will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends in Montreal and Oakville. Vera's life ended as she had lived it, with courage, dignity and strength, surrounded by the love of her family. She will live on in our hearts forever. Visitation will be held at the Collins Clarke Funeral Home, 5610 Sherbrooke W., Montreal, from 2-5 and 7-9 pm Friday December 29, 2006. Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 am Saturday December 30, 2006 at St. Ignatius of Loyola Parish, 4455 West Broadway, Montreal. For those who wish, memorial contributions to the Children's Wish Foundation of Canada would be appreciated. A Service of Remembrance will be held in Oakville at a later date.
