Died peacefully at the Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on Thursday, May 17, 2007. Loving father to Ross, Paul, Trav and daughter-in-law Samantha. Much adored Grandfather of Katelyn & Kyle, Laura & Sarah, and Tayler Johnston. Beloved brother to Ruth (deceased), Keith, George, Joan, Pauline, Pat, twin brother Willard and their families. Vernon worked for the Ford Motor Company for 39 years. Visitation will be held on Tuesday May 22, 2007 from 2 – 4pm & 7 – 9pm at the Kopriva Taylor Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd. West, (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600), Oakville. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. James Roman Catholic Church, 231 Morden Road, Oakville on Wednesday, May 23, 2007, at 11:00am. Interment at Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery.
