MacLEOD: Verna (nee Niergarth)
Verna, in her 89th year, passed away peacefully at Sunrise Assisted Living, Burlington on Monday, February 12, 2007, joining her late husband Clare (July 2003). Loving mother of William and Anne MacLeod of Oakville and Robert MacLeod and Karen Helstrom of Stoney Creek. Special grandmother to Heather Armstrong (Rob), Toby MacLeod and Lindsay MacLeod. Eldest sister of Doris Egles, Jean Reble (Eric), Irene Forler and Harold Niergarth. Cremation with private family service. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to the Dr. Clare and Verna MacLeod Rotary Scholarship, c/o St. Clair College Foundation, 2000 Talbot Street, Windsor, ON N9A 6S4.
