Peacefully after a short illness at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital at the age of 95. Loving and devoted wife of 63 years to Victor, adoring mother of the late Lesley Scott, and cherished grandmother of Heather Watt (Matthew Sparks). Born in Toronto, Vere was an avid traveller of the world, the east coast of Florida among her most treasured places to spend time. Her kind and caring nature will be immensely missed by all who knew her, especially her family. A special thank you to the nurses and staff of OTMH, 3 East and 4 West, for their compassionate care of our Grandma. A private family memorial will be held; cremation has taken place. Remembrances gratefully acknowledged by Vere's family to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
