It is with much sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved mother and grandmother on Friday April 19, 2013. Lucile was born in Carberry, Manitoba on February 18, 1919, where she spent her younger years. She married her beloved Don in 1941 and they settled in Fort Garry, Winnipeg, where they raised their family. She enjoyed golfing, curling and playing bridge. Lucile and Don moved to Toronto in 1972 and they settled in Oakville, Ontario. At age 88 Lucile moved to Sunrise Assisted Living, in Mississauga where she made many friendships with residents and received wonderful care. Lucile was predeceased by her husband Don, her parents, Frank and Vera Davidson, her infant brother Frank, brother, Wilford and sister Frances Wickberg (Bert). She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Barbara Baydak (Bob) of Winnipeg, son Bruce (Diane) of Toronto and her treasured grandchildren, Kristen Baydak, Collin and Lara Young.
A service to celebrate Lucile's Life will be held at 1:30 pm Wednesday April 24, 2013 in the chapel of the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd. W., Oakville (1 block east of Kerr St.). We will miss her positive spirit, warm heart and we are consoled that she lived a full and happy life.
