It is with heavy hearts that the family announces her passing after a long journey with Alzheimer's, on April 16, 2018 at the Waterford Long Term Care. Survived by her loving family; husband George of 65+ years; son Robert (Bob); daughter in law Heather, grandchildren; Meaghan (Brad), Elysia (Graham), Joshua (Ana); great grandchildren, Everley and Diem, also many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her daughter Lynne 2012; parents William and Jeanette Field; sister Nellie Gosse (Field); brothers Alf, Bill and Sid Field. A Service Celebrating Vera's Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 23,. 2018 at the Church of the Epiphany, 141 Bronte Road, Oakville. Reception to follow. We thank the staff at the Waterford for their wonderful care and comfort.
