It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved angel, Trudy, who lost her long battle with cancer. Trudy passed peacefully surrounded by her family and friends at the Carpenter Hospice in Burlington on February 1, 2009 at 11:40pm. Trudy was the beloved daughter of Judith Trites of Milton and Hanford Trites of Etobicoke. Loved wife of Thomas Cook of Burlington and cherished mother of Jordan (18), Erin (15), Evan (13), Jamee (10), Shyanne (8) and baby Summer (5 months). Dear sister of April Trites, brother-in-law John Cucci of Mississauga, niece of Lorna Fraser and daughter-in-law of Doreen Cook of Niagara Falls. Trudy will also be missed by sisters-in-law Tina, Linda and laura and many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600) from 3-4pm on Wednesday February 4, 2009 with a Funeral Service in the Kopriva Chapel at 4:00pm. Cremation.
