Born Cootehill, Co. Cavan, Ireland, Nov. 9, 1937. Passed peacefully at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, April 9, 2011. Beloved husband of Carol (nee Price) for 49 years. Dearest father of Paul (Jennifer), John (Marion), and Andrew (Jennifer). Proud grandfather of Leah, Matthew, Sarah, Daniel, Samuel, and Eva. Fondly remembered by sister Isabel (Hamilton, ON) and Betty, Jimmy, and Harry (Ireland). Visitation will be held Tuesday April 12 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd. West in Oakville. Funeral service to be held at Hopedale Presbyterian Church, 156 Third Line, Oakville on Wednesday April 13, 2011 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hopedale Presbyterian Church or Oakville Trafalgar Hospital would be appreciated.
