Obituary
Born in Buffalo New York passed away peacefully and unexpectedly on March 12th, 2021 in Oakville, Ontario Canada at the age of 79. He was many things including a Loving father, Proud Papa, musician, antique hunter and die-hard Buffalo Bills, and Blue Jays fan. Tom is survived by his son Kevin (Candy) daughter Maura (Bob) son Daniel (Stacey), sisters Anita (Archie), Mary-Jane (Don), his niece Lisa (Kevin) Nephew (Michael) former wife Mary (Anthony), and all his loving grandchildren, Julia, Carter, Ava, Declan, and Cooper. He will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends. Predeceased by his parents Angelo Christopher and Rosina Tedesco.
Tom was proud of his Italian Buffalonian roots. He moved to Canada to pursue his Master's in social work at St. Patrick's College in Ottawa. It was during this time that he became engaged to Mary Adams the mother of his three beloved children. He began his career in social work with Children's Aid and continued his career as an educator at Humber College where he influenced and positively impacted many students and colleagues over his tenure at the school. In typical Tom fashion who had a flair for life, he decided it would be fun to pursue acting on the side which led to a few movie roles. He ended his career going back to his social work roots when he moved to Palm Springs, California.
Tom had a love of many things including music, sports, horseracing, traveling, and golf however his greatest passion and the role that he cherished the most was that of Papa to his beloved grandchildren. A special thank you to his dear friends and the community at the Robinson Street, Jean and Howard Caine March of Dimes building where he lived out the last 7 years of his life. His time there was filled with joy, friendships, and the ability to live independently and with dignity. He had room in his heart for everybody and was loved by all.
