It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Terry (Theresa) Norris, of Oakville on Friday, October 13th, at the age of 95 years. Fondly known as Terry, Mom, Duber and Nanny.  Terry and predeceased husband Gerry enjoyed 4 loving children and their respective partners:  Sean and Grace Norris, Robin Norris and Marla Ortiz, Daintry Norris, Donna (nee Norris) and Brian McLaughlin.

Terry watched with pride her 8 grandchildren grow up into amazing young adults:  Andrew Butters, Meghan Butters, Colin Butters, Scott McLaughlin, Patrick Norris, Matthew Norris, Kaitlyn Norris and Isabella Norris.  Terry also got to witness and enjoy two great grandchildren from parents, Scott McLaughlin and Shannon Anker, Jaime and Ava.

Terry enjoyed a good beer at 5 o'clock sharp, Coors Light, while watching her favorite sport, NFL football. Terry was an avid card player and taught all her children the game of bridge. She was a Montreal Canadiens fan, growing up in Montreal and an avid knitter.  Most of all, Terry enjoyed her Sunday night dinners where she cooked a hearty meal for her family and played a fun but competitive game of cards.

There will be a church service on Thursday, October 19th at 11am at St Michael's Catholic Church in Oakville. Terry will rest beside her beloved husband Gerry. In lieu of flowers, Terry would be happy for any donations to the Alzheimer's Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation .
