Peacefully, on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Genowefa. Loved father of Andrew Bigda and his wife Dorothy, Zofia Alfar and her husband Paul and Krystyna Placzek and Boniek. Cherished grandfather of John, Beata, Mark, Ashley, Jessica, Michelle and great-grandfather of Anna, Daniel, David and Patrick. Will be sadly missed by his sisters Teresa and Mary and all his nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held, at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600), from 2-4 and 6-9pm on Sunday with Prayers at 7:30pm.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10am on Monday, February 6, 2012 at St. Anthony's Polish Catholic Church, 40 John St., Oakville.
