IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Sylva
Eisenmann
November 9, 1932 – June 13, 2024
It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of Sylva Eisenmann June 13th, 2024. Sylva passed peacefully at Ian Anderson House with her daughter Corinna by her side.
Sylva is survived by her daughter Corinna (Eeles), son-in-law Paul, and as Oma by her grandson Brandon. Sylva was born in Stuttgart, Germany, November 9th, 1932. She left a war-torn Germany at the age of 18 migrating to Canada for a better life. And a better life she had, navigating her new home through a German to English dictionary. Sylva was self taught in office administration work to help raise and provide for her daughter Corinna all on her own. She loved playing board games and cards with family and friends including teaching Brandon how to play at the age of 3. Together countless memories were made. Sylva loved to knit. Making clothing for her daughter at a young age, then moving onto slippers, scarfs, baby blankets, and baby outfits for family and friends. One of her greatest accomplishments was creating a breast cancer blanket for her daughter so that when times got tough all she had to do was wrap it around her and she could feel her mom's loving arms around her. Mom you will be missed, forever in our hearts.
"Ich liebe dich, Mama" ❤️
