It is with great sorrow that we mourn beloved Susan who peacefully passed away on a sunny afternoon, October 5th, 2011, surrounded by loved ones at the age of 45. Predeceased by her father, David, and her brother, Andrew, and forever cherished by her mother Marion, her brother Mark, her Sister-In-Law, Alison, her niece, Caillin and her nephews, Connor and Rhuaidhri. Additionally saddened by her passing are close friends Muriel and Peter. Susan is also mourned by numerous members of her family and friends around the world in her native South Africa, in Australia, in Canada and in the United Kingdom. Susan will be forever remembered for her perpetual kindness, intelligence, warmth and generosity felt by all who ever met her and her compassion for all living creatures. Immediate cremation was followed by a private Memorial Service presided over by Fr. Edwin Galea held at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home on October 7th, 2011. A special thank you is extended to all the staff at Ian Anderson House who provided exceptional care, respect and comfort for Susan, her family and close friends during the closing days of Susan's life.
