Steve passed away suddenly and peacefully on January 3, 2019 with his family by his side at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. Remembered as everyone's favourite chef and owner of the former Cozy Corner and Hearthside Steakhouse in Oakville, Steve lived to celebrate his 84 ^th birthday and Christmas with family. Born on December 2, 1934 in Amykles, Sparta, Greece. Loving husband to Stratigo (Toula), dear father to Tony (Aliki), John (Maria). Brother to Maria Sakellarakos, late brother Sam Antonakos. Will be missed by his adoring grandchildren, Kristin, Stefan, Anthony and Jenna. Visitation will be held at Kopriva Taylor Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd W, Oakville on Friday at 6:00-9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church on Saturday January 5 ^th at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow at St Volodymyr Ukranian Cemetery, 1280 Dundas St W, Oakville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Acclaim Health for the new Dementia Care Centre.
