Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital in his 83rd year, on June 17, 2007. Beloved husband of 61 years Halyna (nee Ferenc). Loving father of Nicholas (Mykola) and his wife Halyna Troian, and Walter (Wolodymyr) and his wife Nancy Castonguay. Proud and loving grandfather of Ksenia. Stephan will be sadly missed by his sisters Zenia, Slavka and Maria, all in Ukraine. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd. West, (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600), Oakville from 7-9pm Wednesday, June 20, 2007. Funeral Mass 10am Thursday, June 21, 2007, at St. Joseph's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 262 Maple Grove Drive, Oakville. Interment at St. Volodymyr Ukrainian Cemetery, 1280 Dundas Street West, Oakville. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Joseph's Ukrainian Catholic Church building fund would be sincerely appreciated.
