Born January 19, 1929, passed away peacefully November 26, 2015 at The Camilla Care Community, Mississauga.  Stan is survived by his loving wife Lillian of 44 years, father to his predeceased beloved daughter, Sandra Williams. Brother to survived siblings Elsie and Fred Furlong, Jim and wife June, Frank and wife Helen in Sydney, N.S., predeceased to Cecil, Raymond, Norman, Nicolas and Rubina. Loving and proud step-father to Larry and wife Dianne Armstrong and Raymond and Else Armstrong. Grandpa Cool to Ann Armstrong, Steven and wife Anne-Aliese Armstrong, Diana-Lynn Armstrong, Great Grandpa Cool to Jeremy, Tyler and Shane Armstrong.  "Poppa" to Sean and wife Leah Armstrong and to Patrick and wife Kailin Armstrong and Great Poppa to Raelyn, Liam and Rowan Armstrong. We the family wish to send a special thank you to the staff and care givers at Camilla Care Community for their excellent love and support and continuing care for Lillian during this difficult time. Stan was a proud member of the Merchant Marines in his youth and in leu of flowers please donate to the Royal Canadian Legion in his honour. A private family memorial service will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Funeral Home, Oakville.
