PETCH, Stanley A. - Peacefully on January 5, 2007 in the comfort and care of Ian Anderson House at the age of 71 after a brave battle with cancer. Loving husband and best friend of Ingrid, beloved father of Christine and husband Bob Bell, and Katherine and husband Jeff Dover, and dear grandfather of Luke and Bridgitte. Born in Malta, Stanley spent his early years in Egypt, England and Brazil and then immigrated to Canada in 1959. He enjoyed a 31-year career with Air Canada both in Toronto and Montreal. Friends and family will always remember him for his integrity, kindness, and sense of humour. Visitation to be held from 12 - 1:00 pm on January 10 at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd. West, Oakville (905-844-2600) followed by a service and reception. Private burial.
