Passed away peacefully in his 86th year, on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at the Toronto General Hospital. Predeceased by his cherished wife of 40 years, Elizabeth Vivienne Jacobs. Loved father of Frank ,Julian and Stanley and father-in-law of Etta, Gail and Joni. Sadly missed by his loving wife Julia Currie-Jacobs, her daughter Gay and family. Cherished grandfather of Elliot, Tamara, Lisa, Quinn, Austin and Spencer. A Service to Celebrate the Life of Stanley will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at St. Jude's Anglican Church, 160 William Street, Oakville. The family wishes to express its appreciation to the staff at the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre for their excellent care. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre, c/o Toronto General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
