Peacefully on Saturday December 31, 2011 at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. Shirley beloved wife of Jim of 48 years. Dearest, unselfish and courageous mother of James Christopher and his wife Shannon Renee and Michael Geoffrey. Adored Nan of James Tristan and Jordyn Annemarie. Dear sister of Marilyn Jelinek and her husband Frank, Hugh and his wife Sandra and the late Robert and his wife Linda. A Memorial Visitation will be held, at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600), Oakville, from 6-9 pm Wednesday, January 4, 2012. For those who wish, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
