With sadness we announce the death of Shea O'Loughlin suddenly in Aruba on January 28th. He is survived by his loving wife of over 41 years, Ann; his children Gareth (Marina), Susan, Rachele (Kevin), Linda (Jacob) and Stephen (Wanda); grandchildren Jayden, Cierra, Jasmine, Nolan, Mackenzie, Sean, Lincoln, Kayleigh, Monique; and sisters Maureen (Byrne), Sheila (Harvey) and Dorothy (Vard). Shea enjoyed a fulfilling career as a senior executive in the energy and transportation industries. He was an avid bridge player and was looking forward to becoming a silver life master this year. A true sports fan, he loved to follow his favourite soccer and rugby teams and spent years coaching his childrens' soccer teams. His family was very important to him and he encouraged his children to always discover new things, travel the world and challenge themselves. Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd. W., Oakville (1 block east of Kerr St., 905-844-2600) from 2-4 and 7-9pm Monday with a Mass at Mary Mother of God Catholic Church on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at 11am, 2745 North Ridge Trail, Oakville. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation would be appreciated.
