Peacefully and surrounded by her family, Sharrol Lynn Sprott (nee Toop) passed away on Oct 6, 2025 at the age of 79 years, just shy of her 80th birthday.

She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her husband and best friend, Jim Sprott; her children Sherri Butler (Rob), Doug Sprott, Jim Sprott (Megan) and Tyrena Miehm (Ryan); and her grandchildren Maason, Meghan, Kevin, Marlee, Elijah, Owen and Colton.

Sharrol was predeceased by her parents, Eleanor and James 'Bumpy' Toop.

After growing up in Brockville Ontario, Sharrol's family moved to Kingston, Jim's home town.  Friends since childhood, they fell in love at just 17 years old.   Sharrol and Jim recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on August 28th, 2025.

Sharrol's life was the epitome of a life well lived and she was cherished by all who knew her.   She loved her family fiercely, walking Bentley, travelling, her arts and crafts, 'toddy time', supporting her grandchildren and time at the rink.

The memories of her beautiful smile, loving nature and pure joy will live on in our hearts forever.

A memorial mass was held with her immediate family.
