On November 11th 2023, Shaloke passed away after a spirited 13-month battle with lung cancer. He is survived by his parents and beloved sister. He will be truly missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends

We remember Shaloke for his dry sense of humour, charm, charisma and his generous spirit, which impacted the lives of everyone around him. People gravitated towards his intelligence, desire for knowledge, and passion for the finer things in life. He was an avid golfer, outdoor enthusiast and was equally passionate about his work. His eyes would light up when he spoke about analysing financial trends and investment portfolios; you could always come to him for what he would call "not financial advice."

Shaloke will be remembered for his strength and resilience. Eight months into his battle with cancer, he completed a 200km bicycle ride from Toronto to Niagara Falls to raise funds for cancer research. He was always looking forward to the next adventure and never let any challenge hold him back.

The Kaunds family wishes to thank all who helped Shaloke in the past year. Your support means a lot to Shaloke and to his family.

The viewing and celebration of life will be held at Kopriva Taylor Funeral Home on November 15th  from 5 – 9 pm and the funeral mass will be on November 16th at 10.30 am at St Andrew's Catholic Church, Oakville followed by the burial at Glen Oaks Funeral & Cemetery, Oakville. All friends and family are welcome.
