Sean Eric Rees-Oliviere

1957-2025

In Loving Memory of a Great Man who loved Life, Family and Friends.

Sean passed away peacefully on January 29, 2025 with his wife Livia at his side.

Sean was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandad and beloved friend to many.  He is survived by his wife Livia (Bianchi), his sons Alexander (Dr. Jennifer Taylor), Stefan (Sandra) and  Granddaughter Sophia.  Loved son-in-law of Adda Natalina and Giuseppe (2015) and special and respected brother-in-law to Nick, Tony, Paul, and Raymond Bianchi and families.

Sean was born on June 3, 1957 in Torpoint, Cornwall England.  Sean graduated as a chef and put his skills to use working in Bermuda and finally immigrating to Canada in 1979.  He is predeceased by his parents Cedric and Hazel Rees-Oliviere.

Visitation will be held on Monday February 3, 2025 at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block East of Kerr Street) from 4pm - 7 pm.  Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday February 4, 2025 at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, 181 Sewell Drive, Oakville at 1 pm.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to  the Canadian Cancer Society .
