Sava Radinovic passed peacefully in her 98th year with family by her side (Aug 18, 1919 - May 28, 2017). Predeceased by her husband Milos, Sava leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter through her family. Survived by her five children Milan (Mara), Simo (Anica), Marica (Momcilo), Jovanka, Gliso (Rada), two sisters (Jeka, Milica), 16 grand children, and 25 great grandchildren! After surviving two world wars Sava and Milos were uprooted by civil war from their home, in Knin (former Yugoslavia). They relocated to Canada in 1996 to be with their three sons. She was an avid storyteller until her dying day. She was a witty, strong, and loving woman; passionate about her family. She will be greatly missed by all.
Visitation will be held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West (one block east of Kerr 905-844-2600), Oakville from 7-9 p.m. Monday, May 29, 2017 with prayers beginning at 8 p.m. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Sts. Peter and Paul Serbian Orthodox Church, 1039 Dundas Street West, Oakville. Interment will follow at St. Volodymyr Cemetery, Oakville.
