Peacefully at Ian Anderson House with family at her side on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 in her 91st. year. Loving mother of Dusan (Dragica) and Biljana (Jovan). Cherished "Baba" to; Ilija (Olivera), Suzana (Milic), Jasminka, Jelica (Branko), Milena (Scott), and Dane (Rosana). Very much loved great grandmother of 13 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Ika Cimbur and her family of Oakville, sister-in-law of Ljubica Bosnic and family of Hamilton. Sava will be dearly remembered by many close relatives, Kumovi and friends in Canada, U.S.A., U.K., Serbia and Croatia. Sava lived in formerly Yugoslavia before emigrating to Canada in 1969 where she lived happily with son Dusan and his family. Special thanks to Dr. Shannon-Backo and heartfelt thank you to Sava's caregivers at Ian Anderson House; your care and Compassion was a gift to Sava's extended family and friends. Friends will be received at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600), Oakville on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held 11:00 am Thursday at Sts. Peter & Paul Serbian Orthodox Church, 1039 Dundas St. W., Oakville, with The Very Reverend Fr. Zlatibor Djurasevic, The Very Reverend Fr. Stevan Stoisavljevic and The Very Reverend Fr. Lazar Vukojev officiating. Interment to follow at St. Volodymyr Cemetery. If so desired, donations to Sts.
