Passed away peacefully, with grace and dignity, at Northridge Long Term Care Centre on January 30, 2008, at the age of 102. A gracious lady and devoted Mother who will forever be missed by all who knew her. Dear Mother to Noreen Bortis, Edmonton and Kathleen (Kay) Jackson, Oakville. Beloved Grandmother to Therese, Michael, Patrick, Catherine (deceased), Mark & Glen and Great Grandmother (Grandma Ruth) to Ryan, Nicholas, Olivia, Maxwell and Nathan. Our thanks to the staff, caregivers and many friends at Chisholm House for their care and support. A very special thank you to Myroslava and Karen for their incredible loving care, compassion and devotion. Ruth's wonderful spirit, warm sense of humour and beautiful smile will live on in our hearts forever. The family will receive friends at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd.
