Peacefully in her  94th year  on June 6  2023 surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of the late John  Parsons. Mother of Doug  (Mary) , Liz (Peter), Sheri (Simon). Cherished Grandy of Johnathan,  Luke (Jacquelynne), Eric  (Amber), Sarah,  Joe,  Mike (Claudia), David & Thomas. Cherished great- Grandy to William.

Ruth was born in Motherwell Ontario at the family farm. Daughter of the late James  and Russella (nee Roger) Brown. She attended school at Motherwell Public School and St Mary's Collegiate Institute. Her 1st job was in London with Mutual life at 17. She held many positions over her lifetime as a homemaker, secretary, retail sales & volunteering in various  capacities. She lived in many places in southern Ontario and for awhile in Bermuda.

She is survived by her sister Mary,  sister-in-law Barb,  brother-in-law  Pat and many nieces and nephews. She's predeceased by brothers Roger, Jack, Bill; sisters Christine and Jean; brother-in-laws Ivan, Ross, Orville and David; sister-in-laws Mary, Renie,  Muriel.

Visitation will be held at Kopriva Taylor  Funeral Home located on 64 Lakeshore Rd  W in Oakville on Sunday, June 11th at 2pm; followed by funeral service at 3pm. Reception to follow.

Donations can be made to The Alzheimer Society or Oakville Hospital Foundation in Memory of Ruth.
