Loving wife of Alva F. (Al) Elliott, Ruth passed away peacefully with family at her side on Saturday, March 12, 2011. Dear mother of Wayne (Judi), Peg and Pat (Peter). Cherished grandmother to Kyle (Rebecca), Kate (Mike) and Scott (Lara). Born in Doddington, Kent, England, Ruth came to Bronte as a war bride in 1946. There will be no funeral or service. A private family burial will take place at a later date following cremation. The family would like to thank the staff of Wyndham Manor, Palermo House, for their care and compassion.
